Office Team

I have been working at Taylor for over seven years. I started as the school based substitute and then switched to my current position three years ago. My husband and I live in Arlington and our children attend W&M and JMU.

I grew up in Northern California and have been in the DMV for almost 40 years. Both of my kids are products of APS schools and I've been working for APS for almost 5 years. My professional background is working for a variety of national education-focused nonprofits. In my spare time I like to be crafty and occasionally volunteer as a costumer for a local theatre.

I was born in Guatemala City, Guatemala, I graduated from W-L HS and I've worked for APS for 23 years. I worked at Wakefield HS for over 21 years and about two years at Taylor. I enjoy spending time with my children and grandchildren. I enjoy nature, hiking, gardening, cooking and spending time at the beach with my family.

I am the administrative assistant to the principal at Barrett and work closely with our special education programs. I have worked at the Barrett front office for 18 years and 3 years with APS in the School and Community Relations office and 3 summers in various pre-k special education classrooms. I am a true Arlingtonian, living here for 25 years and raising my 2 children here. I'm an active community and PTA member, and support many of our Arlington youth organized sports teams. I enjoy playing with my dog in the dog park, gardening, rollerblading, diving, and cooking.
