I am a native Arlingtonian and attended schools in Arlington. My mother taught in Arlington and we live in Arlington so our children were able to be in APS. We currently have an empty nest with the exception of 2 silly labs that provide a lot of entertainment. In my free time I enjoy yoga, walking, reading, and sewing.

I’m from Alexandria, VA, went to University of Delaware (Go Blue Hens!), and am married with four children. I started my career in crisis management PR and made a big transition to teaching preschool when my kids were young. Since 2012 I’ve been part of the Taylor community first as a parent and now employee. Buffalo wings are my favorite food. I love my family, the beach, and a good puzzle.

Hi! I'm Ms. Vance! Im originally from Virginia but I've lived in Maryland for almost 6 years now so I make a very long trip to Taylor every morning! I'm new to Taylor this year but have worked in childcare and early education for some years now! I currently attend UMGC majoring in Psychology. I hope to eventually work in mental health and/or art therapy! I'm a HUGE Swiftie but I'm a really big fan of Beyoncé too! I also LOVE horror movies and all things spooky and scary! I have a ton of hobbies like baking, crafting, painting, photography and collecting! After Taylor ES and on the weekends, I work at a cupcake shop right over in Georgetown, DC! My favorite color is orange, specifically Coral/Peach (a mix of orange and pink!). I am the auntie of two amazing children named Jurnee and Corbyn and they are my whole world. So far, I love working at Taylor and I hope to stay here for a while!:)
