First Grade

I have been married for almost 25 years to my husband, Curt. I have 3 boys Grayson (22), Carter (19), and Brady (15). This is my 24th year teaching and my 11th year at Taylor. I love to workout with Peloton, walk my dog, watch college football (Go FSU Seminoles),travel, read and spend time with my family.

I am married and have two little girls. We love to travel and go on adventures outside, especially scootering and biking around our neighborhood. I also love exercising, photography and spending time with family.

This is my 14th year teaching at Taylor. I graduated from Virginia Tech! GO HOKIES! When I'm not teaching, I love spending time with my family! We love to go on walks around the neighborhood.

I moved from Wisconsin in 2020 to work at Little Ambassadors Academy as a Pre-K teacher (and to seek warmer weather). In my free time, I enjoy watching football, reading, and spending time with my friends in the area. My family is all back in Wisconsin, so I try and visit them as much as I can. I am very excited to be part of the first grade team at Taylor.

When I am not working, I love to spend time outdoors, experiment with new recipes, and read. I enjoy gardening, kayaking and hiking. My son started school at Taylor Elementary and graduated from Yorktown last year. I have two dogs, Sammy and Rudy, and enjoy walking them everyday here in the Taylor neighborhood. You might see us out on the Donaldson Run Trail!
