Taylor recognized as a Model PLC at Work school

Commitment to student learning and teacher collaboration earns Taylor special recognition
Taylor Elementary is excited to announce that we’ve been designated as a 2025 Model PLC at Work school. Recognized by Solution Tree for our success in raising student achievement, Taylor is only one of about 600 schools and districts in the US and Canada to receive this honor and only one of 10 schools in Virginia.
The teaching staff at Taylor is committed to its professional development practices that include: a focus on student learning, leveraging data to make instructional decisions and our strong collaborative work. It’s these practices that have contributed to the success of our students and what makes us a Professional Learning Community (PLC).
