Become a Taylor Volunteer

Volunteers at Taylor make a big difference. Become an APS approved volunteer. 

To ensure the safety of our students, staff and visitors, we suggest all parents complete the volunteer application process.  It’s easy.

First, fill out and submit the short application. You will then receive a link to complete the mandatory 35-minute video training. Once approved, your volunteer status is good for three years.

The APS volunteer application process is required for any parent who chaperones a field trip or regularly helps out in the classroom making copies or stuffing Friday folders. Be prepared for when your child’s teacher needs a field trip chaperone.

Parents who volunteer to read to the classroom, volunteer for a party, attend a performance, or make a presentation to a class are not required to complete the training and can sign in as a visitor at the front office. All visitors are required to present their government issued photo ID and check in to the front office for a badge.
