Hopes & Dreams: As Taylor’s Math Team, our hope is to help build positive relationships and culture with mathematics among students and teachers.
Teacher
This is my 11th year in education and my 3rd year in APS and at Taylor! I have loved learning more and more about mathematics through teaching and coaching and, hope to share that passion with others. I grew up in the area, received my undergrad degree from the College of William and Mary, and then returned back to the DC area! In my free time, I love to to be active and outside, whether it's playing or coaching soccer, going on a walk or hike, or spending time with my husband, friends, and family.
Teacher
I am a Taylor Tiger through and through! As a child I attended Taylor and wanted to be my teachers! In between being a student at Taylor and returning to it as a teacher, I studied East Asian Studies and Mandarin Chinese. Before teaching, I worked in the federal and international public transportation industry, particularly around policies and design related to public transportation for people with disabilities. I love traveling and going to vineyards, as well as making cheeseboards.
